VI.  ACTION ITEMS

A.  DISCUSSION OF A PROPOSED LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CAMP MEEKER RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT, OCCIDENTAL COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT AND ALLIANCE REDWOODS CONFERENCE GROUNDS.

DESCRIPTION:  There will be a discussion of the Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds (ARCG) proposed lease agreement where ARCG will utilize a portion of the capacity of the CMRPD/OCSD water system to convey and treat ARCG’s potable water supply, which will be drawn from a well in Monte Rio under ARCG’s existing                                          appropriative water rights. The relationship between ARCG and CMRPD/OCSD is proposed as a lease agreement, where ARCG will lease a portion of the system’s capacity. ARCG will not be acquiring an ownership stake in the system. The purpose of this meeting is to define the costs to ARCG for utilization of the system in terms of initial investment in system upgrades, ongoing operations and maintenance costs, and cost sharing for potential future system upgrades.
